Gray Civil is seeking a highly qualified registered P.E. to serve as District Services Project Manager

4–10 years of relevant civil engineering experience; municipal or special district engineering experience preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas, or the ability to obtain licensure, preferred.
Familiarity with MUDs, WCIDs, WSCs, MMDs, or other special districts strongly preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work directly with clients, district boards, and the DSM.

Serve as District Engineer of record for multiple mature and/or developing districts, representing Gray directly with district boards, management companies, and clients.
Support the DSM in managing team workload, mentoring engineering staff, and maintaining consistency and quality across the district services group.
Assist the DSM with non-technical responsibilities, including client relationship management, proposal preparation, and marketing/business development efforts to help represent new districts.
Help the DSM maintain and administer the group’s QA/QC program, ensuring engineering deliverables meet Gray’s quality standards across all assigned districts.

Design experience and knowledge such as, but not limited to, utility infrastructure design, roadway design, detention/water quality design, and drainage design.
Provide comprehensive district engineering services for mature and developing districts, including MUDs, WCIDs, WSCs, MMDs, and other special districts.
Support the strategy and technical documentation for special district formation efforts.
Prepare and/or review bond reports and related financing documentation for assigned districts.
Manage day-to-day client and board expectations, including attending board meetings and presenting engineering recommendations.
Coordinate with the DSM and other District Engineers across the team to ensure consistent service delivery and technical quality.
